Uppingham School

Uppingham School was founded in 1584 and is today one of the foremost public schools in England.

rla were appointed to carry out the extension and refubishment to one of the nine boarding houses established following the arrival of the great educationalist and headmaster Edward Thring, in 1853.

The legacy of Edward Thring is still present in the school to this day, non more so than the pioneering belief that children are happier and learn better in inspiring surroundings.

rla also endorses these values and ensured that this 150 year old 'brief' was omnipresent throughout. rla are proud to be part of the ongoing history of the school.
